GREAT food but POOR bartenders. We ate at the bar. You would think a place like this in a college town would be able to attract a good bar/wait staff. Lots of talking about work, negativity in front of the customers. No mention of specials until asked, and then they thought it was funny that they didn't know. Would love to see Osso Buco on the menu sometime. Will return; but for me two strikes and you're out.

Being from Chicago, I have high expectations. The Brussels sprouts were delicious, the calamari was excellent, gnocchi excellent. Good food, very expensive for the portion size. Ordered a warm almond cake with poached pears. Forget it. Worth maybe $5 but cost $11! Wasn’t even warm. Maybe just skip dessert.

We cannot say enough great things about this restaurant. My family has only done pick-up a few times, mostly during COVID-19, and the food and service are absolutely top-notch. Items that typically don’t hold up well for carry-out are still extremely fresh and delicious. The staff is always friendly and prompt and the prices are surprisingly affordable for such high quality food and service. We are looking forward to trying the food on the patio once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. Please support this restaurant as it is by far one of the best, if not the best in the Chapel Hill area.

Questions & Answers

We always dress nicer (Sunday best) but it is not required. You might feel out of place if you show up in shorts and flops though, most people tend to dress up a little when they go there.
